It's supposed to be beautiful today but I left the top up on the jeep. I just couldn't see taking it down for one day - besides I didn't get myself in gear early enough this morning *g*

We had a nice weekend. Went erranding Saturday and Sunday went to Clydes in Columbia. I love that place - food is good, service is good, pretty lake :) Robert had the shrimp salad sandwich which was wonderful (yes he knows to offer Mom a bite or else HA) and I had the eggs florentine which was good but a little light on the hollendaise sauce. I figure if I order something with the sauce I want enough sauce to taste. Mom had a 2 year old moment but luckily it didn't last *whew* and [livejournal.com profile] pyllgrum is always easy to please. I think they are making their mimosas weaker though - I couldn't detect any fizz or sparkle in mine and that is what *makes* the mimosa - the fizzy of the champagne. Oh well ... it was a tiny blip on an otherwise delightful brunch.

We are buying a new storm door because 1) ours wasn't hung right and has a 1/2 inch gap at the top and 2) between Mom and the cat they 've broke the bottom *le sigh* Sometime this week the installer comes out to measure and try to jack up the price (you were thinking the same thing) and we go in and over pay for a storm door. Unfortunately such is life.

To leave you on a pessimistic note: crude oil prices are falling - why did gas rise 5 cents a gallon recently? hmmmm? Maybe the Lowe's installer has been visiting the gas stations bwahahahahahahaha
