If I were would I be an accountant?





Really?

Then why am *I* the one who seems to get stuck finding/reporting/fixing glitches? I don't like it when things don't work (yet another reason why I am not a tech person)

Anyway, long rant short, I am on hold with a large well known payroll processing firm that has screwed this poor guys direct deposit up for the last 3 weeks. I changed the routing # and account # and can prove it but for some reason it still keeps going to the old inactive account.

And these people have the audacity to tell me it can't be happening when I have faxed them the change page or the check register showing the changes AND the poor employee's direct deposit voucher showing it going to a totally different account/routing #.

Now I'm on hold.

I wouldn't mind quite so much but I am not a tech person. I know what's happening - their side of the database isn't updating .... and frankly that's scarier. I don't know why though.

Ok rant over .....

****edit**** I know that tech people aren't the issue --- my issue is that I am not one so I can't figure out what did happen. I just don't have that type of information or training. BUT of course the support person at this payroll processing firm ask me "how could that happen?" the argued that it couldn't.
