It's Tuesday ....

sestreeI think I"m going to start a 'dumb question of the week' or maybe of the day at this rate. For those who wonder if there is ever a such a thing as a dumb question has never dealt with payroll. How so many people can have no clue about the money they earn is totally beyond me.
Anyway, Yesterday's dumb question of the day was:
"Did you mail my paycheck to my old address or my new address"
ummm yeah - NEW ADDRESS? ok sure I'll play, WHAT new address?
Today's however is a definite keeper.
"If I get direct deposit will it come to my house sooner?"
I wasn't quite sure where to start on that one. I finally just dodged and stated the obvious which was it will be at the bank sooner.
This was followed by the all time favorite of ...but can you void a direct deposit and give me a new one?
I shudder to think why but hell, why not. Sure I can. I can do anything.
ok, I'm having delusions of grandeur again so I guess it's time to go back to work.
