I am officially hooked
Sep. 26th, 2005 02:51 pmI saw a tiny bit Scottish weekend as I was getting my beer, was able to catch most of the 11:00 ish (going for a beer for the honey) and all of the 4:30 one last Sunday.
Yes I"m talking about that sport of champions - Rat Pucking.
It was just too funny. Just enough rules so that it wasn't a complete cluster puck but few enough rules to where barely cluster pucking happened.
Spectator sport you ask? Oh YEAH ! I have it on good authority (mine) that the king himself pucked a rat and with some providence shining upon him *coughhelpinghandcough* was able to hit the goal.
I might try this sometime but for now it's a wonderous bit of lighthearted fun that happens to be an absolute hoot to watch.
