1. csi:
   I've been a crime/detective show geek since the old FBI show with Efram Zimblast Jr. so naturally this should appeal to me. How much the show appealed to me surprised me though. I also at one point in my life, wanted to go into forensic science. Obviously it didn't happen.
2. games:
   I love card games, board games, and video games. One of my favorite card games is still Milles Borne. I also still have my Super Nintendo and yes still play Legend of Zelda and EarthBound frequently. That is when I can get my son off of it.
3. history:
   Ok, so yes I love history. I love a good story and I've found that fact is often more entertaining than fiction.
4. laurie notaro:
   She rocks. If you don't know who I am talking about read The Idiot Girls Action Adventure Club. One day all idiot girls with rule the world with a twinkie in one hand, a drink in the other and smile on our faces. She currently has 4 books I believe on the market.
5. mozart:
   I minored in music in college. I love Mozart. I also found out in college that I love the whole Sturm and Drang movement that happened in the classical era ... so yeah obviously I'm a Mozart freak. I've you've never listened do so. Pick anything. They're all wonderful.
6. news:
   I'm a nosy b**tch. No seriously as I said above - fact is often more entertaining than fiction. I wanna know what's happening all the time. I guess that makes me a nosy ......... never mind.
7. puzzles:
   I like logic puzzles. I haven't done them in a while.
8. renfaires:
   HA. In this case fantasy beats reality every time. I love the music, the atmosphere, the performances, the garb and the food.
9. star wars:
   OK I was hooked in 1977. I'm still hooked...much like a wayward child you're determined to love regardless of what they do to annoy you, I sat patiently through the good ones and the bad ones. I still don't think Lucas should write dialogue though but that's me. I love the story.
10. travel:
    I like to see things. I like to go. 'nuff said.

as for star wars: just turn the volume off and put the soundtrack on in the background and watch it. It's much much better. Think of it as an old silent movie...in color...with excellent special effects...
