I'm still not entirely sure what I'm wearing opening day. I'll probably close my eyes and dig in the garb box on Saturday. :D

read a bit further down the [livejournal.com profile] mistressfetch's comment ... to question #8 I believe.

If memory serves this is some sort of devious ritual involving bloomers, boxer shorts, and fried chicken .....

Oh I know I know.

I need to readjust my bodices since I've lost a few pounds and find all my stuff and OH MY.

Do you think that's a valid reason to take off work? Prepare for Faire?

OH LOL !!

Let's see - I seem to remember you probably have a designated driver til September (he will be at the first few weekends yes?). *pout* I've never gotten a laminated schedule *pout*

I need to go to Holy Cow and show them the billfold thingy that goes on my keychain. Mine is from 1997 (college) and it's dying .... That's where I keep all my stuff.

As for dulling your scissors - I showed you where crotchless panties bloomers were :D

I started using this trick last year, particularly in the cooler months. Thanks for the tip Angie! It work phenomenally well.

When I was little I thought dresses were called pretties because often when I wore one, family members would say "Awwww, Doesn't she look pretty!"
From: [identity profile] sestree.livejournal.com
How neat :)

Italian ren gown = LUST ! That is one item that is missing from my ever expanding garb wardrobe.

Wench is not only fun it's cooooool :D
From: [identity profile] goldilocks-va.livejournal.com
That is true, and heat and I, were not often friends. Then you add beverages to that and that makes one hot wench.

Maybe I should save the Italian Ren for the cooler fall weather. Or a day when my niece is coming. The three-year-old is a little "mini me" and I bought an Italian Ren in her size so that she can look like Auntie Goldie. ;-)

Pretty much all of my garb/gear was used through the seasons this past year. I think we decided that we only went 3 times last year, and one of those times wasn't in garb (wasn't happening between the medical corset and the walker). The rain of NCRF washed away all the dust, and the sun of VARF dried it all up. Everything's still in the trunk, ready to go. Getting some new garb made for me which should be ready for opening weekend, so I'm retiring the garb I have now until winter.

I have been trying to figure out what I'm going to wear for about a week now. Nothing seems like the right thing to wear. I think I'm just terrified about getting too hot although I already know it's an inevitability.
