I'm ok but ...

sestree...I broke my jeep. Yep, first car wreck in forever - I think 2nd in my entire driving career (3rd if you count the hay truck where the brakes went out when I was 12).
Didn't deploy the airbags even but I'm still so rattled. NOT because of what happened perse but because all of a sudden I am in an area where I don't know what to do, who to call, etc. No ffg clue. I wasn't entirely positive which county I was even in (Anne Arundel btw).
Long story short - truck goes to pull out into traffic after we both stopped and yielded - truck changes it's mind because an asshole changed langes IN the intersection - I'm looking over my shoulder (saw the idiot change lanes mind you but I guess it didn't register) anyway I start off and oops, the truck had stopped.
Broke the grill - broke the radiator - dented the hood - have I mentioned how glad I am I have a Jeep Wrangler?
Anyway the police were nice (Go AA county - not like PG county but I digress) and basically led me by the hand on what to do. Luckily I wasn't moving fast and no I didn't get a ticket (so no points whatever the fuck THAT means - I mean I have had NO moving violations so I'm clueless here).
Boss lady (nice gal) picks me up (yeah I'm like a mile from work ain't that charming?) and here I am....well after a quick sojourn to have my first cigarette in over 3 years.
Yes it helped mightily. No I am not taking the habit up again but damn it was nice.
So ... on to payroll. At least I did it in style. All told I was only 10 minutes late for work - ok yes I had planned to be here EARLY but the best laid plans and all that happy horseshit.
Maybe Jenny has another cigarette I can borrow? Nope, too hard to quit them damn things.
