1.) I am losing my hearing rather rapidly from years of cymbal and percussion playing. You notice if I can't see you I usually can't hear you either *sigh*

2.) I was once part of a rather gruesome Grand Jury and trial proceeding where someone *I* had hired actually caused the death of a person in the group home I managed. The Grand Jury voted found guildty but they acquitted at the trial because our DA was a moron.

3.) I am afraid of heights.

How cool - you used to be a wedding singer. I can't/don't sing -- just beat objects that make great big noises (hence the hearing loss dammit).

As for the can't swim --- it might be something you want to check into. I am all for learning, if nothing else, then just enough to be safe.
