1.) I am losing my hearing rather rapidly from years of cymbal and percussion playing. You notice if I can't see you I usually can't hear you either *sigh*

2.) I was once part of a rather gruesome Grand Jury and trial proceeding where someone *I* had hired actually caused the death of a person in the group home I managed. The Grand Jury voted found guildty but they acquitted at the trial because our DA was a moron.

3.) I am afraid of heights.

Here's 3 random things about me:

1. I used to be a wedding singer (I got paid to sing in weddings).

2. I was mostly bald until the age of 3 - I had a little bit of peach fuzz but that's about it. My mom even taped bows to my head so people would know that I was a girl.

3. I can't swim.

- My favorite color is actually turquise but I normally wear reds and pinks because I look better in them.

- I can trace my family tree back to at least the 1700's on both sides and trace a few branches back to the 1200's on my dads. Included in that is the fact we now know I'm of Jewish ancestry (something my family is excited about) along with the Moorish, American Indian, Irish, Scottish, Italian, English, and French. There is probably more in there but I am offically a mutt.

-I actually wanted a cat. But My dad is allergic to cats and since I knew I would have to bring whatever animal I got home over summer break in grad school, I decided to get an animal he wasn't allergic too. Miss Ginsie, my pup, is the best $50 I ever spent. And dad swears (teasingly) she must have been a cat in her previous life....:-)

How cool - you used to be a wedding singer. I can't/don't sing -- just beat objects that make great big noises (hence the hearing loss dammit).

As for the can't swim --- it might be something you want to check into. I am all for learning, if nothing else, then just enough to be safe.

Oh she all nice and sweet and adorable...until the mailman comes. Or Shiloh, my mom's dog, gets in her way. Although, she normally has a very good reason for biting Shiloh on the ear and barking at him.
Like a couple of days ago, one of my brothers ordered pizza. When the pizza dude came, Shiloh did his "how dare you tresspass" bark. Ginsie peeked around me after a couple of warning barks, saw that it was someone delievering food and not the evil mail, and went to bite Shiloh on the ear.
This caused Shiloh to jump back but he slowly crept forward and kept barking. Miss Ginsie, and all of her 22 pounds, put both paws on Shiloh's shoulders (kinda like how we do to him to try and push him to the floor so he can't run away and stops barking. I think she's seen myself and my Dad do it enough times she figured she'd give it a try!) and then starts to bark in his ear! I think she's probably sick of getting in trouble for Shiloh's barking!
