Can't believe I did that

I knew I didn't feel very good on Wednesday (head fuzzy and all) but I somehow posted a huge payroll journal entry to the wrong period. Then I updated the system so now I get to reverse it by hand.

Charming.

I feel like an idiot...first time I've done that in forever pretty much. Everyone here thinks it's funny though (they would).

Well ... off to the grind.

**for the other accounting people --- no I can't auto reverse it (darnit) - our system doesn't have that feature unless you turn it on before you post. It's all hand key in reverse then re key and post to the correct period.

Thank you. I'm usually very careful but at least it's fixable even though it's a pain.
