Does anybody know anything about the livejournal clients? Yes I read their FAQs and even looked into one but the download/installation page wasn't very helpful and frankly I think I need more info.

I run PCs btw (hush all you purists out there).

Any info would be helpful and definitely appreciated.

I used Semagic for a long time it's quite stable and very full featured. http://semagic.sourceforge.net/

Now if you use Firefox as your internet browser then you look into Deepest Sender which works right in the browser. That's the one I use now.

Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
Deepest Sender: http://deepestsender.mozdev.org/

I use Semagic at home but not here at work. It seems to work for me.

I've used Lochjourn and now Semagic... I switched because I found all the features in Semagic a bit better. Haven't used the Firefox extension yet, but, I've read a bit of it and it seems like a decent extension to use also. For now I'll stick with Semagic

Thanks guys. So I guess I can assume it's safe to download (at least at home). I haven't had the guts to try Firefox yet even though I remember you [livejournal.com profile] mdrf_lumpy recommending it last fall.

I'll try it this weekend and thanks again.
