Looooong Weekend update

Not a long update (too damned early) but here goes:

Good things:

Got to see the pink and blue that was danicia this weekend.

l'ensemble Cercamon ROCKED (thanks again to danicia for the recommendation.

WOLGEMUT !!!

Saturday was me, Jon, the kids and Mom; Sunday was me, Jon, the kids and Monday was just me and Jon - sometimes it's wonderful to be alone ya know?

Got to FINALLY meet the adorable blenderwench and wish her a happy birthday. Also got to celebrate 2 other friends' engagement and meet the elusive duncan_mcguyver.

isabelladangelo's pink and gray tudor gown - spectacular

Honey bought me a new Moresca bodice and skirt - my first Moresca purchase. Nice - I liked it better than I thought I would :) Major props to sanveangirl because when it looks so good on another person that's a big sellling point. We definitely *must* go to the sale this year :)


Saw many FOMDRF peeps - many who don't have LJ accounts...and many who do whom I'm missing like myrddinman sandman74 and qadthane

Honey bringing jingle_chelle a purty leather rose.

No drama - if it was there I was vaccinated against it.

Not so great things:

Faire food does not agree with me - in fact it's getting to the point that fruit is about it. The fried pickles even caused issues this time (memo to me - avoid the huntsman sandwich at all costs).

My weatherman LIED to me - it was icky on Monday not 'beautiful'. Where did that humidity come from?

A sad little girl :( but she sure was a joy earlier in the weekend so I guess this was a plus too.

I lost my favorite fan -- it was a 'found item' from years back though so maybe it found a new home.

No drama for me but for a dear friend of mine it was personal drama to spare that unfortunately invaded her place of escape.

Thanks to the noise at the White Heart could NOT hear the O'Danny Girls ... I really do not like the White Heart for that reason.

Saw sunflwgal multiple times but never made it over to introduce myself.

Was going to try to find dawntreader90 and thewhitedragon but remember what I said about the White Heart? Too noisy too crowded. Hopefully next weekend.

sanveangirl knows more about it than I do but sometime in the spring Moresca has a sale at their NY site/warehouse/whatever it's called. She got some great buys last year.

this is my first Moresca outfit so I skipped the NY caravan last year. jingle_chelle may know more about it too.
